The 28th Annual National Acolyte Festival was held at the Washington National Cathedral.  Over 1,000 acolytes participated in the festival.  The beginning of the festival included a procession of all the acolytes which took over an hour to complete.  There was a truly national presence at this festival.  Parishes from as far away as Phoenix, AZ and Austin, TX were present.  Each acolyte received a medal and was our acolytes enjoyed lunch at 2 Amys Pizza.
